To ensure quality service, overnight reservations can only be guaranteed with an advance one (1) night credit card deposit at the time of booking.
To avoid loss of deposit, overnight reservations must be canceled at least five (5) days prior to arrival date.
Similar to a human hotel, The Barkley is in high demand during peak/holiday periods. Because availability is limited, a minimum night stay is required to best accommodate our clients. We suggest booking well in advance during these periods.
Even though we provide 24-hour care 365 days per year, our lobby hours vary for drop-off and pick-up over the holidays, as follows:

Easter Sunday: Closed
Memorial Day: Closed
4th of July: Closed
Labor Day: Closed
Thanksgiving Eve: Closed at 3pm
Thanksgiving Day: Closed

The Barkley accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Sorry, we do not accept checks.
The Barkley provides 24-hour, on-site animal care for all pet guests, every day of the year. Our lobby is open to the public for arrivals and departures:
Monday – Friday: 7am to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 6pm
Sunday: 11am to 8pm
Our lobby is closed for arrivals and departures on the following days: New Years Eve (at 3 pm), New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Eve (at 3 pm), Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (at 3 pm), and Christmas Day.
